TRACKING & MINUTES OF MOVEMENT

Our reward system is based on MET data.
MET stands for "Metabolic Equivalent of Task" - a scientific value that measures how much energy your body actually uses during an activity. The heart rate, calorie consumption, intensity and distance covered are crucial in order to truly assess your physical performance.
From a MET value of 3, your activity is considered moderate cardiovascular training. If you exercise more intensively, your MET value will also increase - and you will receive a correspondingly higher reward.
The newly introduced step bonus takes effect as soon as a daily step count of 7,000 is reached.

Moderate training is particularly suitable for health prevention, weight management and reducing cardiovascular risks.
- Walking at a brisk pace (no ambling)
- Light jogging or cycling (no sprinting)
- Swimming at a moderate pace
- Nordic walking or hiking with a slight incline
- Dancing or aerobics at a moderate pace

There can be two reasons for this:
1. no training session started: A training session must be actively started on your fitness watch for your minutes to be recorded.
2. no data transfer: Make sure that you have agreed to the data transfer and have correctly connected the Benmo app to your fitness app.
Tip: Check in the settings of your fitness app whether benmo is displayed as a connected app and always start your workouts directly on your watch or in the app.

Synchronization takes place with a short delay. This means that your accumulated minutes are not always displayed immediately, but arrive in the app bit by bit - even after your dance session, bike ride or when you sprint for the bus at the last second. This is completely normal and ensures that all data is recorded correctly.

The data is always updated when you open your benmo app.

You can exchange your collected credit for various products in the benmo store. We will then send you your order.

Select a product in the benmo store and click "Pin" to add it to your wish list. Pinning a product does not automatically reserve it.

No - in the benmo app you don't get any products for free. You earn them through movement.
Each product is labeled with the official manufacturer's price (RRP), e.g. €170 for a running shoe. In the app, this shoe will cost you at least 1700 minutes of exercise, depending on the MET value.
This is our way of rewarding your active lifestyle fairly - without discounts, without sales, without advertising gimmicks. Only your performance counts.

The products in the benmo store are intended as a personal reward for your own physical activity. Therefore, we ask you to ensure that the products you order are for your own use. This helps us to maintain the integrity of our reward system and to remain fair to our partners.

If it is determined that a product is not intended for the member's personal use, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the corresponding credit. This is to ensure the fairness and sustainability of our system.

No, this is not possible. Please note that each item can only be ordered in one size per order. It is not possible to purchase multiple sizes of the same item.
If an item does not fit you, we will of course be happy to exchange it for the correct size.

Your accumulated movement credit will be retained for 14 days after your membership expires. During this time, you can reactivate your membership at any time and continue to use your credit.
If you do not extend your membership within this period, your credit will be deleted without replacement. A transfer or payout is not possible.
